Course Goal

The course aims at acquainting participants with the up-to-date Airline costing, Economics, Statistics, Airlines business plan analysis concepts, and at enhancing their skills, knowledge and capabilities so as to cope with the recent development in issues related to air transport industry, such as; business plan study, fuel consumption, and fleet management.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Know the concepts of air transport and civil aviation management.
  • Understand the methods of flight clearances and types of flights.
  • Understand the air transport facilitations that should be available at the airport.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about air transport economics.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about air transport statistics.
  • Understand the major activities and processes that are essential for good slot allocation services in the international airports.
  • Review up-to-date knowledge of slot management issues & development of ground operation services in the airport.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about aircraft documents and certificates.
  • Enable participants to develop effective skills and techniques of flight permissions and slot allocation services.
  • Familiarize participants with new technology and new development in the field of air transport and flight clearances services.
