Course Goal

This 60 hour, two week course aims at acquainting participants with the up-to-date Air Transport Statistics concepts of Airports Movement Statistics, Prepare Statistical Reports for passenger, freight, mail and aircraft movement, statistic analysis and technical development, traffic rights and liberalization of air transport. Also enhancing participants' skills, knowledge and capabilities so as to cope with the recent development in issues related to air transport industry.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the methods of air transport statistics.
  • Understand types of commercial and non-commercial operation.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about aviation statistics concepts.
  • Acquire a good idea about air transport statistic analysis reports.
  • Familiarize participants with new technology and new development in the field of air transport statistics.
