Course Goal

This 60-hour, two-week course aims at acquainting participants with the up-to-date Air Transport Facilitation concepts of air transport facilitation regulation at international airports, machine readable documents, traffic rights and liberalization of air transport. Also enhancing participants' skills, knowledge and capabilities so as to cope with the recent development in issues related to air transport facilitation and services provided to passengers and aircrafts at the international airports.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the methods of air transport facilitation.
  • Understand types of airports.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about airlines type of operation.
  • Acquire a good idea about other government agents in the airports.
  • Familiarize participants with new technology regarding facilitation at the international airports.

Target Population

This course is designed for air transport middle management, air transport facilitation staff, Facilitation Committees members, passenger services staff, government agents at the airports, customer care representatives, and airlines staff.
