Course Goal

This 60 hour, two week course aims at acquainting participants with the up-to-date Air Transport Economics concepts of air transport economic regulation, commercial, technical development, traffic rights and liberalization of air transport. Also enhancing participants' skills, knowledge and capabilities so as to cope with the recent development in issues related to air transport industry.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the methods of air transport economics.
  • Understand types of airlines economic operation.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about airlines operation documents.
  • Acquire a good idea about other commercial agents related to airline commercial operation.
  • Familiarize participants with new technology and new development in the field of air transport economics.
