Course Goal

This 30-hour, one-week course aims at acquainting participants with the up-to-date Air Cargo Facilitation concepts & all local and int'l regulation in this regard. Also enhancing participants' skills, knowledge and capabilities so as to cope with the recent development in issues related to air transport industry such as; Air Cargo Operator, freight documents, cargo handling facilitation services in the international airports.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the methods of Air Cargo Facilities.
  • Understand freight handling management.
  • Be aware of Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about required freight documents for the cargo flights.
  • Distinguish between commercial freight and non-commercial freight.
  • Familiarize participants with new technology and new development in the field of cargo facilitation & regulation.

Target Population

This course is designed for air cargo handling staff, facilitation staff, airport management staff, airport ground operation staff, ground handling services staff, and freight forwarder agents staff.
